[…] Yes, I am using this award winning software. Here is the story…I’m a Unix Technical Support Engineer who is still using Microsoft Windows XP due to undisclosed reason. Today, I’m looking for a download manager to download RHEL 5.1 ISO’s. I’ve been a Download Accelerator and GetRight user in the past, but somehow I don’t like them very much since they are just shareware plus having adware in their software. […]

I’m really grateful for providing me this fabulous software and rescuing me from the dark ages of download frustrations. Great Job! I really couldn’t believe my eyes and still can’t. Wow!! Accelerated download speed is a big understatement. I average at least 10 times the speed I got before. And all that for free! Thank you!

I couldn’t believe how well this worked! I just recently installed it and saw large file downloads done in well over HALF to 3/4 the time! Example…downloading the Call of Duty 4 game demo from the official site was going to take 2 hours. Other mirrors and sites that hosted the file were 1 to 2 1/2 hrs. Thats on broadband for a 1.37GB file! FDM did it in 30 minutes! I’ve seen average download speeds double and triple! Even file hosts with ‘capped’ download speeds were no match for FDM! One file host (again, for a PC game demo) that had a 500kbps cap for non-members, I downloaded at an average 780kbps! I haven’t used a download manager much in the past (tried GetRight once), but I swear by FDM!! Thanks and CONGRATS on the Gold! I would’ve given my vote!
