FDM is simply the best download manager I’ve ever used. It has a simple and intuitive GUI and supports SSL downloads. No nagging extras, it does what I tell it to do, and what it’s supposed to do.

Hi
The “Check for update” feature still does not work at all.
Will it ever be fixed?
On the other hand this is the best download manager EVER!
I tried to switch away from it several times but I could not find any better software even amongst the payware and I have tried quite a lot of them. You won, guys!!!

FDM is by far the best available download manager. Keep up the good work !
I’d love to see FDM on Linux! Are there any plans for porting FDM to Linux?

FDM is the best download manager observed till date and it really rocks….
But looks like it is not compatible with Firefox browser. When ever a download link is clicked in firefox browser, FDM shall not get activated. Same works fine with Internet explorer.
Any idea of fixing it.

FDM is simply the best downloading software I have ever used. It is very much user friendly and effective download manager undoubtedly. It’s Bit Torrent Download support has made it a universal download manager. But I am afriad, I think I have found a bug in it. As FDM started to support torrent download facilities, I stopped using utorrent to download torrent files. But soon I came to see that, the torrent download facility of FDM contains a bug. When u download a large torrent file, it hangs the system and you can do nothing without restarting your system pressing the power button. I hope this bug would be fixed in the next version. Eagerly waiting for a fresh new version of FDM.
Thank you.
