LOVE FDM, but am just updating to Win 7 64bit. It looks like the currant FDM won’t run on these???? I will keep my fingers-crossed that a future build will. I worry about lots of the other similar programs out there, as we really don’t know what we are downloading/installing with them half of the time. I trust you guys though 🙂 Fabulous job! Cheers!

Fantastic! great works, FDM FTW 🙂

@Tina FDM runs on Win 7 64 bit like charm! no need to worry about this.

Awesome. Just one bug experienced though. When trying to remove certain files form the queue after they are done downloading, FDM crashes. This only happens on some files, and rather sporadically so I could not identify specifics regarding file types. I am running Windows 7 Professional x64.

Many thanks for the update

I cannot download directly filesonic files using the “+” icon in FDM (i have a premium account with the site). I previously downloaded directly for rapidshare files.

It is possible to just copy the link in the”+” for filesonic files?

Best free download manager. But please release a FINAL build, it’s been so long. A final build can be incremented with updates to support browser updates, like Firefox 7, 8 et al.
Thank you for this great free, all-in-one software.

Thanks for all the work you do ! your software is by far the best … Keep up the good work and we will always be here to support quality open source projects

come on guys its been so long release a final one that supports firefox 6 7 8
all the others has release one a long time ago
best manager ever though
keep up the good work

Still, there are some bugs in this RC1… 2 days ago I started downloading a torrent file, 2.32 GB… and the next morning I turn on my computer ALL of my download list including that still in progress gone, which makes me to restart all of ’em again… FDM is the best but until they release into an ACTUAL release, im using another download manager… I can’t wait to see the new version of FDM…

I like FDM vary much and i have been using it for 3 years. But there are some lack of this. like

1. there is no option for refresh the download link and i request to add this option.

2. You should increase supported download server like rapid share, file-sonic et.

I am very happy. because (FDM) has more features with professional supporters and upgrade it to be the best.

I think FDM 3.5 version when i download many files be faster than later FDM versions 3.7 or 3.8 .

frankly, Internet Download Manager (IDM) is the best and fatest download manager in the world.

I wish from FDM supporters to make comparing between IDM VS FDM one by one to add new features or fix problems and see what are the differences and similarities between them and I am sure supporters can make FDM features better than IDM features ….. GO AHEAD ….. you can do .

Thanks. This is the best download manager ever!

I’m delighted to see that support for Internet Explorer 8,9 as well as support for Firefox 6,7 has been added. I’ve used FDM for years, and was disappointed that the new Internet Explorer/Firefox browsers caused such changes as to nullify FDM integration.

Thankfully that has now been fixed, and I can begin to use my favourite download manager again.

I’d like to echo the request for Opera 11 support in FDM. I primarily use Opera, and will only resort to Internet Explorer when I need to download a file. I know that Opera provides its own integrated download manager, but it is not as capable as FDM. Thus, I use FDM for all file downloads.

Bravo to the developer[s], you’ve written an excellent piece of software that shall remain in my arsenal of tools for many years to come.

I would like to say that FDM is the best download manager on the planet Thanks for all the work you do it’s really helpful for us it’s really awesome!!!

I think when 3.8 come, we use IE10 & FF9 and we have to wait for next FDM to support them!
FDM is the best but it’s development is really slow…
