Will there be a portable version?
PS have you heard of aria2?
It would be more efficient if FDM was a gui for that instead of a standalone application.

The new Chrome extension is gr8, but needs some additional features:
1. Popup download with FDM on web media player.
2. Advanced integration to all browsers including portable version (like Comodo, Yadex, Torch, Maxthon, etc.).

I need help! Keep getting an error stating Free Download wasn’t properly uploaded. I can’t find it to remove it. Also, it states to remove npfdm.dll from browser or plug-in – can’t find that either.

Does not work/integrate with IE 11 (version 11.0.9600.17239, update version 11.0.11 KB 2976627), looking forward to fixes.

It is incompatible with Firefox v.33.
I hope you could fix it ASAP.
It would be great if FDM could efficiently work in all versions of Firefox.

Thanks

What about Firefox v.35 compatibility? Firefox installer marks FDM plugin as incompatible.

Also there is one very annoying “feature” in FDM plugin – its popup button “downoad”. It takes literally dozen attempts to hit it, as it disappears instantly just as the mouse cursor leaves video rectangle. Such a behavior makes video downloading almost impossible with your otherwise great product.

Dear Team,

Thanks for this great utility.

1. While downloading legally permitted free material, fdm says ‘access denied ….’ error.
(Download properties > general tab > Login required = off (blank))

2. Firefox ver 36.00 – suddenly fdm related context menu disappeared. (fdm 3.9.4, build 1482)

Got a strange issue with Firefox 2.0.0.3.I ldaoed a few add-ins and started to customize my toolbar. Moving thnigs around, like dragging the File Edit View menu to one side, having the URL space to the far left, and swapping out extraneous navigation bar icons (refresh). My major issue now is that it seems like clicking Restore Default Set (right click the menu bar, choose Customize ) forces in duplicate sets of the standard icons (Back, Forward, Refresh, the URL window, and the Google/Search window)! I seem to have about three sets across the top row now and I can no longer remove icons from the Navigation toolbar. Dragging them into the Customize window doesn’t remove them, and I can’t drag them into new locations on any toolbar. I’ve tried re-installing Firefox (on top of itself, not by uninstalling first) and also clearing cache etc. to see if it helped but these failed to fix it. My next move is a full uninstall and re-install, but first I need to track my Add-on installs and themes. Hopefully this annoyance is fixed
