The more protocols the better in any download manager free or paid.

3.9.1 BETA version supports downloading via RTSP/MMS.
All users are welcome to test it.

I dont remember what an MMS stream is but if its what I think it is it should be able to choose a point in the 'stream' to start the download. I know n3ttransport allows for the user to specify the start and end time of a video stream and I have used it in the past. Unfortunately n3ttransport fails when it comes to resuming/importing broken downloads. FDM also has some strange issues regarding resuming downloads but that is in a different topic.

Agreed. +1 vote for rtsp and mms.

Is the dev active atm? it doesn't seem like any dev actually reads these forums :roll:
