Thanks for the reply, Alex
For some reason, I thought that 2048 kb referred to the minimum file size, not the size of each section
It's working fine now :D

Section minimum size is 2 Mb.
File size is 3Mb.
If FDM create one more section, then section's size will be 1.5 Mb. That is less than the minimum size.
You should set minimum size to 1.5 Mb at most to allow FDM create 2 sections.

I have FDM 1.1 Build 228 with a 56K modem connection.
I set it up to download with 2 sections if the file is over 2 MB.
To be sure they're correct, here they are:
For Download Options, Network:
Heavy Mode
Maximum number of connections 2
Maximum number of connections per one server 2
Maximum number of running downloads 1

For Default Download Settings, Connection:
Sections
Minimum size 2048 kb
Maximum number 2

When I try this direct download link,
http://www.lavalys.hu/downloads/everesthome151.exe
here's the log information:
Succeeded
[Section 1] - Started
[Section 1] - Downloading
Creating new section...
Cancelled
Creating new section...
Cancelled
etc.

This file is 3 MB long. Why is Section 2 cancelled twice?
I know that FreshDownload 7.16 worked fine with this same download link.
It created 2 connections to download the file, so the server does allow it.

Is this a FDM bug, or are my settings wrong in some way?
