One of the sourceforge comments mentions that FDM has "Software Informer" which seems like some sort of marketing spyware. Is this or something like this still part of FDM to this day?
(The installer doesn't mention that it will install anything other than FDM though)
I've been using Flashget for the longest time, but there are some small features that it doesn't have which FDM has, and in fact, the problem with Flashget is that IT HAS GOTTEN WORSE (less features, uglier UI, more spammish) OVER TIME!
FDM, as it now stands, looks a lot better than the already excellent Flashget ever has gotten, so I think a lot of people would be willing to pay for a "cleaned-up" version without any included marketing-ware (if that is still indeed the case).
