Whenever i add a link and i start the download it is automatically marked as complete and the only thing downloaded is a HTML shortcut named the file name.

Same problem for me when downloading with FDM but when I use my browser download manager, downloads are OK.

Sorry, I forgot to give you a detailed description of the problem:

1. General description of a problem.
When using FDM, my video downloads are saved as HTML shorcuts. This problem occurs only when downloading video files (youtube, depositfiles, ..). It seems that there isn't any problem with software downloads.

But my native download manager (firefox) doesn't meet any problem to download these same video files (youtube, despositfiles, ...).

I am using WINDOWS XP SP3.
My browser is Mozilla Firefox 12. 0.
The FDM version is v. 3.8.
I am using flashgot addon under Firefox to manage FDM.

Thank you for any information about how to solve this problem with FDM.
