Why is theren't full compatibility with Chrome?
I need to use extensions to work with Chrome and FDM, on Firefox all is more simple..
Chrome is more diffused and, in my opinion, FDM should work with it without external extensions (that, for example, delete "download selected links" voice and flash download, very important features!).
Thanks!

What's your issue with FDM, as i use Chrome even daily (current: v18.0.971.0 canary) and didn't encounter any compatibility issue, yet). Please indicate your configuration (WinXT, Win7... DOS?)

...and also please register with a decent username, there is no identical and moaning guest like "Guest".

Cheers,
Dan

Hi, thanks for reply.
First at all I use Chrome 16 and Win 7 (DOS Based :P)
Indeed there isn't incompatibility: when i use chrome and fdm and i download a file, i can download automatically with fdm.
But there are some differences between integration with firefox and chrome:
1) On firefox i can download youtube video automatically with fdm (with a button on video div), on chrome nope.
2) On firefox i have menu: "download selected links" (right click), on chrome nope.
3) On firefox i download immediately a file with fdm, on chrome appears a white page that redirects to FDM and i must click "back" to return on my previous page.

They are important features and in fdm 3.8 can be improved.

But it's perfect to me as its size is showing 3677kb also playable, I have used both IE9 & Firefox 9.
You can try Internet Explorer also to download.

Let me try firefox 9

Still no luck, I have no idea what happened

The problem is, after I clicked "download with fdm" it's showing the video size 2320kb (which is wrong) and if I download it anyway, it's not the correct file (unreadable).

This will be fixed in the next update.

just downloaded build 1172.
I tried to name it differently as the previous build. But, since the link is the same as before, FDM will overwrite the existing file, ignoring the new filename. There is only restart or resume to choose.

Would be better to check whether the file is the same, not only the link - or, obey the settings given by user.

If you're mainly using these download hosts, like megaupload.com, hotfile.com, etc...
you better use JDownloader, which is updated almost daily for supporting these sites, including automatically filling in recaptcha's, and the way these filehosting sites change things almost daily, it's impossible to expect a 1-man-only program like FDM to be able to support these. You definatelly need to check out JDownloader, and look for a plugin for it called "Captchabrotherhood" or "Captchatrader"

FDM with Opera 11.60 working, but downloads from mediafire through Opera are still being managed by Opera built-in downloader.
