I don't know if it has been suggested before... I truly had no idea about what keywords to search for. I'm not sure if it's already possible do it, either. So, if it is, please let me know I can achieve it. Thanks.
So, my suggestion is as follows.
Imagine I download a file, each day, from the same URL, but each day the URL has a different date. I'd like to be able to configure FDM, so that everytime I redownload "this" file, it will allow me to download the new file, according to the date of today, for example. It would be great to be able to download the file from the previous day, as well. Which is the case, actually. The file(s) I need to download everyday, they're always one day behind. So, today 2011-08-22, I'll be downloading the file from yesterday.
Example of URL: http://domain/sometext/sometext-2011-08-21
So, if I start downloading this file now, I'd like the following downloads to be incremental:http://domain/sometext/sometext-2011-08-22
and so on.
Would something like this be possible? I'm learning scripting language, but FAR from having the knowledge to try to achieve it. But, it would be great if FDM could do it.
