A fried recommended FDM but I'll have to pass since MMS RTSP support is a must in any downloader.

FTP and BitTorrent features, on the other hand, is unnecessary since there's already many excellent freestanding applications for that. My guess is that FDM will always be a step behind when it comes to such features and they will steal focus and energy from work on core downloader features, like streaming protocol support.

One more thing, if this list is correct then you have the chance of being the first major downloading tool to both be open source and support downloads over MMS & RTSP. Please go for it!

Well, FDM is Great!

But RSTP and MMS Support is going to make it greater yet, and we would love to see these new great features :lol:
