I installed FDM specifically so I can download a Daily Free Image. I can't be at my computer every day so I want FDM to download from "/free-daily-picture.jpg" every day for me.

However, despite setting Schedule to daily it just doesn't happen. Every time I've looked at the \Downloads folders the folder is empty.

I have changed my settings to Administrator. I changed the settings so the computer never logs me out.

I have checked the box "Start Download Automatically".

I have clicked onto the Scheduler tab and created an task to "Start All Downloads" at the same time as my download daily free pic task , and shortly after my daily free pic task.

The only way I can get it to download is to press SHIFT-R. Then - when I got into \Downloads the picture is there. I cannot get FDM to download the picture on it's own at all.

I am all out of options here. Please help.

Shift+R is for "Restart download". Have you marked "Restart downloads automatically" when creating a new task in Scheduler?
