ArtStudio uses hardware acceleration for filters rendering, that gives amazing perfomace boost: while newest processors can apply 4-6 effect layers at regular 800x600 resolution image, middle-end video accelerator card card process 15-20 filters on the same image size. And newer video cards, for example geForce 8600 GTS, can process 12 filters layers on 1920x1080 image, giving us fantastic quality of output screensaver. ArtStudio can export result as windowed/fullscren executable, screensaver, can render animated gif or flash .swf file or simply render images sequence in various formats (png, jpg, tga etc).
