If you are a fellow UPM or Line Producer, this bit of free film budget software might give you a headache instead of lighten your reminder load. It might however give you some light entertainment to wind up your production coordinator ? if you pass it on as a useful reminder software. It?s a screensaver, upon being idle at your film budget the software randomly starts pasting film budget line items on your screen to remind you of stuff you hadn?t researched yet, and encourage you back to work.
Every time the Film Budget StickyNotes cuts into action and loads up, the sequence pastes notes at random, and the line items keep coming relentlessly until you get back to work. My friendly web-guy thought it would be really useful to develop for me, to save me worrying about my heavy schedule ? but I actually see the use in this for those that are learning to do their own film budgets. I got him to change some of the notations on the notes so there are a few things in there some fellow UPMs might relate to regarding film budgets and schedules they?ve worked on. Hint, the notations relate to when you?re forced into shaving the film budgets.
