IcoFX is an award winning freeware icon editor. It is an all-in-one solution for icon creation, extraction and editing. It is designed to work with Windows XP and Windows Vista icons supporting transparency.

| I had a simple purpose, make a icon for out of a GIF image. This tools UI is simple and effective because it is not overwhelmed with tool bars and icons and the screens are very intuitive to a first time user. I found it took me under 1 minute to figure out how to open the GIF image, make small edits to it, and save it off as a ICO file so that I could associate the newly made icon to the shortcut I had on my desktop. BRAVO! simple...functional...I'd say you hit the target in the middle, you guys should remmeber not to make things too difficult when enhancing this tool in the future...if you decide to do that. | For a free program this one Rocks. I made an icon in just a few minutes without reading any instructions. It has an editing program and a help section so no need to be online to get help like most others. Nice work to the authors of this program. |

| Tired of looking at generic IE icons on my toolbar; now they're all fixed. Took me all of 15 minutes to download, install, and copy/crop/rearrange/&resize the graphic I wanted for the first icon--without bothering to read any instructions or wander through a Help menu. Whether you mean business or just want a fun & useful diversion, I recommend this wholeheartedly. Go for it! |

| IcoFx is everything is promises. I tried several other "free" and actually free icon editors before trying IcoFx and was always disappointed by the lack of advanced features. IcoFx is truly a professional quality icon editor with a ease of use appealing to the novice. I originally wanted to merely edit icons but I have now been inspired to create entire original icons. |

| I love the features on it but the problem is when you wanted to copy and past it should also give you what size you wanted to past into or give you the option of what size you wanted to place onto the new image.. I know that it needed something other than that Its a great alsome program! |
