| Kingfishers and Kookaburras Screensaver presents images from Richard Bowdler Sharpe's ornithological book, Family of Kingfishers, published from 1868 to 1871. Only two-hundred copies of Famiy of Kingfishers were ever printed. It is extremely rare. John Gould supplied specimens for the work, and John G. Keulemans, the extraordinary Dutch wildlilfe painter and illustrator, drew the 140 kingfisher plates included in the book. | |||||
