PIA-Service Manager is a pay-per-use Internet Connection Management System that allows operators to offer fee based connections to Internet. It runs as a Windows 2000 service and only allows Internet access to client terminals that have been authenticated. PIA-Service Manager supports a wide variety of authentications including credit cards, member accounts and PIN-activated prepaid cards. It also supports unlimited custom external authentication methods using standard HTTP POST communications. The system is compatible with most major database systems including Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Interbase and more. PIA-Service Manager will provide dynamic addressing to any TCP/IP device for any operating system that supports DHCP. The perfect solution for broadband provisioning in hotels, apartment buildings, airports and convention centers.
