In the world of data warehousing, SQL Server Integration Service (SSIS) is a popular platform for building high performance data integration solutions including Extraction, Transformation and Load (ETL) packages for data warehousing.
But programming Integration Service has become more popular in between SSIS developers recently. So to help SSIS developers for boosting their programming abilities, SQL Lion team has come up with a unique tool called ?SSIS Component Explorer?. --> Connection Managers
--> Log Providers
--> SSIS Data types
It also shows code snippets for each of the components that ease the developers and accelerates their action. It comes in two versions, ?SSIS Component Explorer 2005? and ?SSIS Component Explorer 2008? for SQL Server 2005 and SQL Server 2008, respectively.
