It is a 2-player, perfect-information game classified as an elimination game generally and a royal queens game specifically. It is a spherical-surface, 3-D game yet it can be represented, viewed and played via any/all of 16 available opening setups using a 2-D gameboard with 2-D pieces. There are NOT 16 variants. There is only one game. Each of the seemingly-different, 16 available opening setups in 2-D are merely different perspectives.
