Great features poor customer service	2007-05-04
The software has many great features but you will need some knowledge about changing code to customize the website. The code is open but changes do not stick if changed in the abledating admin panel. I have to go to an html editor to make changes. Thier logo and title is all over the place and it takes a while to find and repace it with your own site name. Additionally customer service is not great. You will get a response but answers are unlikly. Look at their online help before purchasing...the short non-helpful answers are what you can expect after the sale as well. I paid extra for a custom design but it has never been delivered. When I ask about it I am ignored. The company is in Russia so they know they can ignore without penalty. I am able to work through the code so I like the software but this is not for newcomers. A lot of work is required to customize and get a site online.

Whilst the software is very good, the customer service is extremely poor. I asked various questions when first purchasing this software and they were all answered to my satisfaction. One of them was that the code was 99% open source. However, after purchasing (and you cannot get a demo), it appears that 40% of the files are encoded using zend encoder, therefore if you want to do anything apart from changing the themes, you are pretty stuck without requesting certain files to be decoded for you as and when you need to. But how do you know which files you will need to change if you cant even view them in the first place. Also, documentation is non existent. If you want an off the shelf script that just works, I would try something else. There were sql errors all over the place and I could not even go into the files to fix them.
