| I recently had the same bad experience with Hide my IP as Gloria. Slow browsing when the "Hide IP" feature is activated and weird responses to everything in Chinese when the feature is active. Also, mine (Hide My IP Platinum) only links to ONE IP address in China. The poor English on the website and product description makes me think that there is only ONE website available, in China the same place this program was coded. I don't believe Hide My IP has won any of the awards on its website and I also believe it's all a scam. I've tried to get my money back, but their support and sales emails are no longer receiving emails. Stay away from "Hide My IP." |

| SLOWS the browser before every page access.
I cannot access common pgs like abc.com. They are just blank until I hit their STOP HIDING IP button for the site to appear.
Some webpages are "Page not found" until turning off Hidden IP.
Difficulty locating a U.S. site, especially w a secure connection. So, many times your IP is located in China or Japan. Google appears in CHINESE.
Continually tries to change the HiddenIP even tho that option is not checked. When it cannot find a new IP address, it interrupts you w an alert box (every time) telling you
that it is keeping the old IP.
After 17 days of purchase, I emailed their contact address (they do not offer a phone#) to describe the problems and request a refund. They replied "it is not our policy to issue refunds", even though it appears that they have a page describing a nice 30-day guarantee. It is a trick. Read it carefully---especially Paragraph 2-it is actually only 24-hrs. Be careful.
