If you have to make a presentation in a place you have never been to before, you never know whether they have the necessary version of Power Point installed on their PCs. With Power Point Slide Show Converter, you can be sure to do excellently even without Power Point.
The software saves Power Point presentations to *.exe files that can be run independently. The program has two conversion modes: a simple one and an enhanced one. The enhanced mode basically embraces all the options of the simple mode but for the ability to support links or embedded video clips. In the enhance mode, you can add soundtracks and transition effects to presentations, generate Autorun files for CD/ DVD disks, optimize presentations for text and drawings or photographic images and set some slide show options. In contrast to the multitalented enhanced mode, the simple mode is a complete failure, we are sorry to say. In our tests, it did not manage to create a single slide show.
What comes in very handy is a far smaller size of output files in comparison to the size of input Power Point presentations. For instance, with the input size of 18 Mb, the output file is only 827 Kb. Thus, users can find it very convenient to store their presentations or send them to friends via e-mail as Power Point Slide Show Converter files.
It should also be pointed out that users can create screen savers with this software. This option is available in the enhanced mode.
Overall, Power Point Slide Show Converter is a handy tool for making self-running show slides, but, unfortunately, the malfunctioning of the simple mode does not allow us to give the program the highest mark. |
