| Benton Movie GIF loads a software program which is essentially spy ware, called "Relevant Knowledge" (relevantknowledge.com). If you just happen to catch the program spewing personal information onto the Internet and uninstall Benton Movie GIF, that alone will not solve the problem. You have to uninstall a separate program called Relevant Knowledge, which uninstallation hangs your computer while it trys to spew yet more information onto the Internet. Since Benton does not obtain permission to install the separate software package (separate because it has to be uninstalled separately) such installation is illegal, in my opinion (please consult your own legal council). Sneaking a program onto your computer, under the guise of another program, is the very heart and soul of what the average computer user, in fact the industry, perceives as spyware. | |
