Editor review of PiggyBob Premium |
2006-11-09 |
If you have a rough idea of your finances, PiggyBob Premium will help you to gain some insight into this issue. This program is designed to monitor your income and expenses and give you a graphical presentation of your financial situation. You can not only get a clear idea of the way your money come and go, but also reveal weak points and start saving money.
First of all, you should specify the currency symbol and its position in relation to the sum. After that you are ready to keep track of your income and expenses. When you add an expense or income to the database, in both cases you have to specify the date, the amount of money, provide some description (for example, name a purchased item) and select a category. Actually there are no built-in categories, so it's up to you to create categories, edit and delete them.
In the statistics window you can view all your entries organized the way you like. Statistical information can be displayed for a current month, current year, previous month or year, last 12 months, custom period or it can encompass all entries in the database. You can get a list of all entries or you can group the entries by date, month, category or income/expense. Besides, there is an opportunity to filter and order the entries.
PiggyBob Premium can also demonstrate the state of affairs visually by means of charts. You can view a bar graph showing you all the income and expense values for each day (or month) of any time period. Income and expenses can also be analyzed separately, presented as pies cut into the categories. These show you the contribution of each category value to total income or expense amount. |
