Editor review of WinHKI

WinHKI 1.76 is a dependable and quite effective file-compression tool. The software features eleven compression types (HKI, CAB, JAR, ZIP, etc.) and four compression levels: none, fastest, normal and maximum. In the full version, HTML and Picture compression is also available. Moreover, WinHKI provides password protection for compressed files. In comparison to WinZIP, WinHKI produces files up to 1.2 times smaller (to be more exact, 39% of the initial size of the program for compression), but it does not outdo WinRAR. Through the Extras-Setup option, the software also allows to configure details such as text size, program position, progress and text colors, sound accompaniment when the compressing is done and others. The program's intuitive interface with large buttons for its main functions makes the work easier for you. Overall, WinHKI is a fine tool for saving space on your HD or making files more manageable for e-mailing.
