Editor review of blueTools LifeBook |
2007-11-09 |
Today, in the era of total blogging addiction, keeping a diary just to yourself is quite a rarity. However, if you are into private journaling, LifeBook may be the right tool for you.
LifeBook is a digital diary that is designed to look and feel like a real book. However, we liked the design of the splash screen better than that of the inner pages. The layout is simple and there are not many options to choose from - you just type a text on the left page and you can add any picture to the right page. Probably, there are other customization options, but they are not included in the trial version.
Reasonably enough, the book is password protected to secure your private information from prying eyes.
Unfortunately, there are many features that are disabled in the trial version (you cannot even save a chapter), so we were not able to appreciate the full range of possibilities LifeBook has to offer. However, we believe that this tool will serve well as a private digital diary, especially for kids and teens. |
