Editor review of Winner Video to FLV and SWF Converter
Winner Video to FLV and SWF Converter is a neat tool for making our videos easily transferable. This programme does not require us to have any knowledge of codecs, resolutions, bitrates and whatnot; all we have to do is add our original video files to the list, adjust some options and click 'Start'. Afterwards, depending on the chosen output format, we can either place flash videos onto a site, or upload conventional 3GP or AVI files to a mobile device to enjoy our favourite films during a long railway journey.
Still, this easiness has its downsides. Both video and audio quality settings range from 'Lowest' to 'Highest', without a slightest hint on what the resulting size will be. Although we do get to set the exact target frame rate, video size, and aspect ratio, it still takes some trial and error to find the desired settings. What also contributes to our errors is that this converter does not split or merge videos, processing each item in the list into a separate file.
Unless purchased, this programme converts only the first three minutes of every original video file.
