Editor review of Perfect Screen Ruler
This lightweight measurement application welcomes the user with brief how-to instructions making it clear how to use the program. We advise you to first read the how-to and only then start operating the program (or copy the instructions) as once you take the first step in the program, instructions are no longer visible.
Actually, the software lets you measure things by making a screenshot of anything happening on your screen and then letting you zoom in on it. Then you indicate points on the screenshot, and the program displays the vertical and horizontal distance between them in pixels. Unfortunately, the program does not let you measure diagonal distances or make measurements in other units.
However, the program’s ability to measure angles is definitely a strong point. What seems to be missing is the opportunity to deselect measurement points if you made a mistake. On the whole, Perfect Screen Ruler is a helpful and convenient tool that will be appreciated by many users.
