Vera Blanc: Ghost In The Castle - is an intriguing detective game, which starts with a touching story about a girl who was diagnosed with a brain cancer and was going to die, but for the serious operation on her brain, as a result of which she got an ability to read people's minds. The story catches attention, and the whole gameplay reminds comics with colorful pictures with the difference that from time to time you should choose the way the story continues, in other words you have a possibility to control certain situations in the game by choosing the right actions or words to say to the character in the story. This way you act as a detective, and you should be cautious not to give away your profession, as people are reluctant to enlarge on the strange things happening in they town. By the way, the aim of the game is to investigate the mystique cases of suicides and murdering that presumably all have to do with an awesome ghost in the castle.
The story is diluted by challenging and interesting mini-games, for example, word games, in which you should guess the sentence - the thoughts of a character in the story - by revealing a restricted number of letters.
The game is quite long and reminds reading a detective story, though here you are able to control the further development of the story line.
