You must have noticed that you can often tell people's character traits by their faces. But how does this happen? Digital Physiognomy can elaborate on this.
The software provides you with human identikit, using which you can assemble facial images and get particular kinds of information about a person with a similar type of face. The identikit includes the following facial features: forehead shapes, cheekbone shapes, chins, eyes, eyebrows, noses, mouths and ears. What's more, some additional features, such as beards, moustaches and glasses, can make an even better likeness of the person, whose facial image you are trying to configure.
The downside is, however, that all the images are black and white and it is highly likely that you will fail to combine facial features so that the image constructed closely resembles the real person's face. It is also disappointing that sometimes the program is prone to distort images and that the randomize option malfunctions. Finally, the main program window in the trial version cannot be resized, which also hampers your work.
What comes to interpreting images, Digital Physiognomy can not only define the main character traits and give their word description but also suggest the profession of the imaged person. What also comes in handy is that you can drag and drop your own picture into the right window and set it as the background for building an identikit image.
On the whole, having more that 500 faces belonging to celebrities in the full version and allowing you to make your own facial images, the software can serve as a fine entertaining tool. |
