Scheduling setup

In the download list, right-click the file or click the three dots, select Scheduler, enable it, and set the time (e.g., from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM).

Add a download to FDM

Launch FDM and add a file using any method: paste a URL, drag and drop, or use the built-in browser.

Find the download in the list

In the main window, locate the file in the list of active or queued downloads.

Change priority

Right-click the download, choose “Priority”, and select the desired level (High, Normal, Low).

Theme and interface setup

Click the menu icon in the top-right corner.
In the left menu, select “General”.
Choose a theme and style from the drop-down lists. The app will apply changes automatically.

Download folders setup

• Click the menu icon in the top-right corner.
• In the left menu, select “General”.
• Choose a default download folder (e.g., Documents/FDM Downloads).

Browser integration check

In Settings, go to “Browser integration”.
Make sure the FDM browser extension is installed.
If the extension is not installed, you’ll usually see a “Download extension” button or manual setup instructions.

Speed limits

Click the menu icon in the top-right corner.
In the left menu, select “Speed limits”.
Choose bandwidth settings that are comfortable for you.
