FDM 5.0 alpha, Build 3763

Dear Users,

Having diligently worked on creating a new FDM 5.0 alpha version for the last couple of months, our team is now delighted to present our latest build which brings a lot of UI and stability improvements, as well as a new feature that’s been frequently asked for: the ability to tag downloads.

We have improved the browser integration. You can read more about the changes in this build down below, and there are still some known issues that we are already working on:

[*]Selection checkboxes in the downloads list can work incorrectly in some cases
[*]In some cases non-typical consumption of CPU and memory may be observed
[*]Import of a long downloads list from FDM3 may take a long time

We continue to improve the functionality of our Free Download Manager and enrich the program with new features. That is why your feedback and comments are very welcome.

Please download it from our Forum.

Never forget to BACKUP your old FDM 3.x *.sav service files BEFORE installing and testing new FDM 5 alpha.

When installing new Alpha build, you will be asked to uninstall the previously installation of FDM 3. Please note that FDM3 uninstaller will ask you whether you want to remove your downloads list/settings/etc. Answer NO to keep the ability to move back to FDM3!
