Settings are well arranged now.
What about other improvements in this beta?
I think FDM homepage needs a bug tracker (like bugzilla) to organize all the bug reports instead using the forum therefor.

there’s something going on ! i can’t dowload anything. my FDM gave up. allways appears this message: ” FDM can’ t connect to server”" . please… what´s that? want my FDM back. i’m user for five years now and never have even 1 problem. but last two days … nothing happen. thank you if you give me a tip. beto brandao-brazil

There’s a bug when maximum connection per server is reached … ballon tip in tray gets crazy and start to appear & dissapear those queue items.

Free Download Manager is useful to me. I like useful.
Using your FDM GUI I would love to be able to access a web site offering games and stuff for sale and download. I go to sites like IGN and get lost with so much confusion there. Something simpler and less busy woould suit me fine.

We also ask you and everybody else to report bugs to the support service using this form:

I just discoverd this software from a book I purchased yesterday. “Hacking windows Vista” By Steve Sinchak. It was recommended and I’m so glad I downloaded it and I’m using it for everything. It’s an amazing piece of software. Thank you for making my downloading in IE7 alot easier. Not to mention Comcast.

I’ve never used FDM ; I knew it from pcastuces.com it’s interesting Features but I still can not user it . pls how can I set it as DEFAULT download manager

Please add support for downloading files from One-Click-Hosters like Rapidshare.com or Megaupload.com.
Just like JDownloader.

FDM build 758 is not compatible with mozilla 3.0.2 please help to recover from this problem kindly mail me when the problem has been rectified

Oh srorry, for me it’s not more compatible with FF 3.0.3.
Please fix it.
It always shows all options in context menu in FF but if you click one it dosen’t work.

hi, any chance that fdm can encrypt the download traffic?
the reason why is my ISP is throttling the bandwidth limit for dowload from rapidshare..
please advice.

I have downloaded a web site using FDM (html spider tab) 2 months ago. Now, the site has changed a bit and I want to download it again, but I don’t want to download everything from the start.
How can I set up FDM to recognize what files already exist on disk so it doesn’ download same files again? how I can disable the duplicate file and rename file on the HTML spider knowing that disabling it on the download option does not diable it on the spider

I have noticed that the spider (which is generally v. good) seems to download a duplicate file for each time a named anchor (ie: page.html#topic) is referenced. In other words a page with several named anchors on it seems to get downloaded repeatedly for each anchor as page.htm, page(01).htm … page(nn).htm. This is a real waste of time and space, and it is a shame that this (seemingly simply fixed) error persists. Surely it would be easy to scan the urls for the # symbol, and avoid duplicates thus?

FDM is good but so sad it wont work with rapidshare premium
all i get is “connection limit reached for this server”
with flashget i don’t face this kinda stuff when downloading multiple files from rapidshare

When will we have a new version of FDM? Version 2.5 doesn’t support ANY of the browsers that I use – IE 8.0b2, Firefox 3.0.4, Opera 9.62 and Chrome 0.4????
I’ve been using DAP Free for some days now, but I love FDM. Please give us a new version soon!

HTML Spider doesn’t download images or other files referred from CSS files.. and so it can download full website.
If any one know how to download full site including those images & files referred from css..

Hello, guys! Can you, please, make a choice to make _same downloads for all users_ so that FDM users like me won’t have to leave their users turned on in background even though someone else is at the computer just to continue downloading? That would be very helpful. ^.^

How do I stop FDM from overiding Firefox plugin Flashgot? Reason is simple, if you have viewed a YouTube video and use Flashgot, it immediately saves it from the temp folder. FDM, stupidly, starts a full new download – while the data is right there. I click on Flashgot and FDM steps in everytime. How do i disable this bad behaviour? Thanks in advance;)
