Another year of success and happiness has passed. We’ve added new features like the option to change URL, Firefox 57+ support, revamped modal dialogs, etc. We’ve made FDM more user-friendly, improved functionality, design and fixed compatibility issues.

Dear FDM Users!

We have released a new version of FDM 5.1.33 for Windows 7 and higher and updated FDM 3.9 for XP users. The key improvement is the Firefox 57+ support. Now, both versions of FDM work with the latest Firefox.

Also, we have fixed the seeding function, issues with Wi-Fi network lags and crashes caused by torrent downloads and added traditional Chinese localization.

Dear FDM Users!

We’ve released a new FDM version 5.1.27. Completely revamped modal dialogs are even more user-friendly. From now on, FDM will ask you if you want to finish a previously failed download instead of creating a new one. If a link has expired and you don’t want to restart the download, just use the Change URL option added to the context menu and check the status of your downloads in a new progress tab on the Info panel.

If you use a previous FDM version, feel free to upgrade and take advantage of the new features.
